Woah, here they charge anything from around 20 up to 150 euros for repairing the drive, if it's a common hdd replacing the electronics of isn't expensive. Fixing the actuator is usually over 100 euros and it's not guaranteed to work, so pretty much nobody chooses that.

It would only make sense to charge the amount of money you mentioned if the hard drive was physically destroyed.

Considering the HDD price and how valuable the information would be... yeah, I wouldn't really pay that price either. Heck, I'd pay 2x my HDD if anything, but no more than that.

I would pay it, when you really need the data.
Also: Note that real humans are rescueing your data and not some roboters. You have to pay them per hour, so don't complain about the price

Did you try this tool "UFS Explorer Professional Recovery" allready ? Can't add the link to that software ...

Code: Select all

Your post looks too spamy for a new user, please remove off-site URLs. ?!?!?!

I had an broken RAID-Controller (RAID5 with 4x3TB Drives) and with this tool I saved round about 95% of my data.

This tool is realy expensive but when you know some "dark" sites you should find it for free :D

Greetings

That tool won't help if the disk doesn't even shows up in the BIOS.

I haven't noticed that problem. How do you know it can't find any post.
