What would make BF3 gameplay similar to BF2 gameplay?

I am currently researching what values that would have to be either increased, decreased, disabled or removed in order to create a BF2 gameplay mod for Venice Unleashed. Now, in the first stage it won't be much honestly. I will mostly try to match some of the BF3 values to their BF2 counterpart.
So, what changes would make BF3 similar to BF2? I have created a list of changes that I think would fit nicely in order to create a slower-paced game with less run and gun. I will also look into vehicle handling and such.
Disable: Health-regeneration
Color Correction
3D Spotting
Unlimited ammo for Health-Kits
Unlimited ammo for Vehicles
Unlimited sprint ?
Killfeed ? - Who reads it anyway
Pointfeed
Response when player is killed
Decrease: Sprint Speed
Maximum Health - Will have to be tested. Can be done by server-settings anyway
Supression visual ?
Tank-armor in the back - RPG & C4 in the rear should do more damage
Jump-height
Sun-glare
Increase: Respawn-time
Weapon Spread ? - Need to compare the games first
Reload-time
Spray Penalty
Spray Penalty when moving
Jump penalty
Squad-size (6)
Supression-affection ?
repair-time for vehicles
Mortar reload-time
Explosive resupply-time
Vehicle spawn count ?

Excluding the weapon ammo (which is doable since it's in BF4), most of the stuff you requested are in Hardcore mode... which can also be played in a Custom preset if someone were to host it.

My suggestions are in red.
There are some things which can be done without heavy modding...
"Mods" mean it can be done by creating scripts or Rime modifications since some things are engine-related and need a re-configuration (e.g. reload times, etc).

Oh yeah, I'm aware of that. It's more about what it should include than anything.

It's not as much as a request as it is a suggestion list. I'm doing this myself, but I would just like some more additions.

Please don't say hardcore mode....
What we need is a classic preset with following settings;
3dspotting off
audiospotting off
autospotting off
health regen off
disabling off
suppression off
color grading off
soilder call outs off
6 man sqauds
Rest should be similar to normal preset.
If we want something even closer, I think we need to setup a separate backend so we can keep patching the game with weapon balance, vehicle tweaks, removal off gadgets/weapons and adding maybe a wire-guided weapon system (SRAW) instead off all this lockon we have now.

No way for weapon balance cuz dice make it client side and pack it inside .cas file with RSA encryption.
Removal off gadgets/weapons should be easy.

It will be possible to modify any file for VU mods.

Isn't there any separate command for HP?
In CoD, you got "scr_hardcore" and "scr_player_maxhealth". Aren't there any similar commands on a BF3 server?

hardcore just forces a set of parameters
but you can set them manualy with a config or via Rcon.
You can set the parameters manualy but then the server is running in the custom gamemode and not in hardcore/normal

Custom is not good, it is to hard to get a successful classic mod running when you don't have a good preset that find servers forr you.
